What is Pluk?
Pluk is a Slack agent that turns your team's LinkedIn network into a hiring pipeline. You describe a role in Slack; Pluk finds matching people in your teammates' 1st- and 2nd-degree connections and helps line up warm outreach through the person who actually knows them. Think of it as a weekly automated referral party — automatic and meticulous — so network hiring becomes a habit, not a hopeful LinkedIn post.
How do I install Pluk in Slack?
Click Add to Slack on pluk.ai, create a free Pluk account (or sign in), then approve Slack permissions for your workspace. No card required. Pluk joins the workspace and creates channels for your searches.
How does Pluk find candidates?
You describe the role conversationally in Slack — title, seniority, must-haves, nice-to-haves, companies to target or avoid. Pluk searches the combined networks of teammates who connected LinkedIn, and surfaces people ranked by fit and connection strength.
How does network search work?
Pluk only searches LinkedIn networks of people in your org who opted in. It works solo or with a team. Teammates do not see each other's full connection lists — they only see when someone they're connected to is surfaced for a role.
Do I need LinkedIn Recruiter or Premium?
No LinkedIn Recruiter account is required to use Pluk. LinkedIn Premium or Recruiter can help if you do additional LinkedIn outreach outside Pluk's warm-intro loop, but it is not required for Pluk itself.
How does Pluk learn over time?
👍 and 👎 on candidate cards tune the next batch. Pass because someone is too junior or at the wrong kind of company, and Pluk adjusts. It also learns which teammates follow through on intros, so each weekly party gets sharper.
Is Pluk a LinkedIn Recruiter replacement?
No — and that is not how we position the product. Pluk is for hiring through people you already know. Use Recruiter for volume InMail if you need it; use Pluk for warm, in-network pipeline in Slack.

What does Pluk cost?
Start free: 1 active search, 20 qualified people from your network, and the full outreach loop. Pro is $200 per recruiter seat per month for unlimited active searches and candidates on your schedule, plus $10 per connected teammate per month. Cancel anytime; no card required to start.
What is a recruiter seat vs. a connected teammate?
A recruiter seat ($200/month on Pro) is for whoever sets up and runs searches. A connected teammate ($10/month on Pro) is anyone else who connects their LinkedIn. Every connected teammate widens the network Pluk can search.
What's included on Free vs Pro?
Free runs one search end to end — including drafted LinkedIn messages, teammate coordination, and send-from-own-account. Pro removes Free's limits: unlimited active searches, unlimited people found, and delivery on your schedule.
Privacy, Slack & LinkedIn
Can Pluk read everything in our Slack?
No. Pluk can only read messages in the channels, DMs, and group DMs it has been added to. Everywhere else in the workspace, it sees nothing.
Is our data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Pluk does not share, sell, or use your data to train AI models. Only networks of teammates who opted in are used. See pluk.ai/privacy and pluk.ai/security.
Who sees whose LinkedIn connections?
No one on the team sees anyone else's full connection list. People only see when a candidate they are connected to is surfaced for a search.
How does LinkedIn outreach work?
Pluk drafts the intro. The teammate who knows the candidate edits it in plain language and approves. Messages send from that teammate's own LinkedIn account — not a shared bot identity.

Yes. Connect your LinkedIn and run searches on your own network. Adding teammates expands coverage — every connected teammate ($10/month on Pro) is another graph Pluk can search.
We're not a Silicon Valley tech company. Is Pluk still for us?
Yes. If your team lives in Slack, hires in English, and has LinkedIn networks worth mining, Pluk fits — including non-tech and non-hub teams that never bought LinkedIn Recruiter.
Vs AI sourcing
How is Pluk different from AI sourcing tools?
AI sourcing tools search the open web and often surface profiles you have no relationship to. Pluk searches your team's networks — where your best candidates already are, and where you know people are real because you or a teammate is connected. Referrals also tend to stay longer (industry research, including Workable, has long shown this).
How is Pluk different from other network search tools?
Because Pluk lives in Slack, it does not stop at a list of connected candidates. It helps you follow up with the connected teammate, draft the warm message, and actually send outreach — so you hire, not just search.
