Pluk connector for Claude

Pluk sorts your LinkedIn connections into the people you actually know and the ones you do not. The Pluk connector brings that list into Claude, so you can ask about your own network in plain language, keep your known list up to date as you meet people, and export it when you need a file.

What the connector does

Once connected, Claude can search the people on your Pluk list, see summary counts for your network, record whether you know someone, add people you have met, and create a CSV export. It works only with your own list: it cannot see your teammates' lists, message anyone, or act on LinkedIn for you.

Requirements

  • An active Pluk account. Create one at pluk.ai/myconnections; the sign-in page also links there. A subscription is $12.99 a month, cancel anytime, and included for members of a Pluk organization that pays.
  • Your LinkedIn connections imported into Pluk, either by connecting your LinkedIn account or by uploading the connections export you download from LinkedIn.
  • A Claude plan that supports connectors.

Connect Pluk to Claude

  1. Open Pluk in Claude's connector directory and choose Connect. You can also find it in Claude under Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Claude opens Pluk's sign-in page. Sign in, connect your LinkedIn if you haven't yet (or upload your connections export), and choose Allow. Pluk then sends you back to Claude. New to Pluk? Choose Create a Pluk account there, set up your account in the window it opens, then come back. Sign-in uses OAuth, so Claude never sees your Pluk password or your LinkedIn sign-in.
  3. Back in Claude, try a question such as “who do I know at Northwind Labs?”

Tools

The connector gives Claude five tools. Claude chooses which one to use from your request; you do not need to name them.

Search your list

search_peopleRead only

Finds people on your list by name, or by work history, education, location, headline keywords, and words in your own notes, in any combination. Each result shows the person’s name, LinkedIn URL, headline, one current role, location, whether you know them, and your note on them. Results come in pages of up to 100, and Claude can ask for the next page. Filtered searches check full public LinkedIn profiles, so they also find people whose current headline does not mention the role.

Try: “Who do I know who has worked in climate tech?”

See your network stats

get_network_statsRead only

Counts the connections on your list, how many you have confirmed you know or do not know, and how many Pluk predicts you know.

Try: “How many of my LinkedIn connections have I confirmed I know?”

Update whether you know someone

set_known_statusChanges your list

Marks a person already on your list as known or not known, or clears your answer so Pluk’s prediction applies again. Pluk finds the person by their LinkedIn URL or their exact full name, never by part of a name. If no one matches, or a name matches more than one person, nothing changes and Claude shows you the closest matches so you can pick one by LinkedIn URL.

Try: “I don’t actually know Jordan Okafor. Mark them as not known.”

Add a person

add_personChanges your list

Adds someone you have met to your list, with their LinkedIn URL and an optional headline, marked as known unless you say otherwise. Claude asks for the LinkedIn URL if you have not given it. If they are already on your list (the same LinkedIn URL, or the same full name), Pluk updates their status instead of adding a duplicate. If several people on your list share the name, nothing changes and Claude asks which one you mean.

Try: “I just met Priya Iyer, CTO at Northwind Labs: linkedin.com/in/priya-iyer. Add Priya to my known list.”

Keep notes on people

update_noteChanges your list

Adds a dated line to your private note on someone already on your list, such as how you met or when you last saw them, keeping everything already there. Claude rewrites or deletes a note only when you ask. Notes are visible only to you, appear next to the person in Pluk, and can be searched. If the person is not on your list yet, Claude can add them first.

Try: “I had coffee with Jordan Okafor today. Note that they are hiring a head of design.”

Export a CSV

download_csvCreates a download link

Creates a download link for your list as a CSV file: the people you know (the default), the people you do not know, the people Pluk predicts you know, or everyone. Anyone with the link can download the file until it expires 15 minutes later; ask again for a new one. Your list itself does not change.

Try: “Give me a spreadsheet of everyone I know.”

Getting good results

  • Ask the way you would ask a colleague. “Who do I know at Northwind Labs?” works better than naming a tool.
  • Searches cover everyone on your list by default, labeled known, likely known, not known, or not yet classified. Ask for a strict cut, such as “only people I have marked as known,” when you want one.
  • Results show one current role per person. Someone who holds several roles can match a search on a role that is not the one shown; open their LinkedIn URL to see it.
  • Public profiles are often incomplete or out of date. An empty company or title means the information is missing, not that the person has no job.
  • For role or industry searches, give Claude a few ways to say it (for example “recruiter, talent, sourcing”). Pluk matches titles as written, so variations help.
  • If a result says some profile lookups failed, the results may be incomplete. Asking again can fill them in; if it keeps happening, email support@pluk.ai.
  • Ask for a CSV only when you want a file. For questions about who is on your list, a search answers directly in the chat.
  • Large lists come back a page at a time. Ask Claude to keep going, or narrow the search, when you want more than the first page.

What data Claude can read and change

Claude can read

  • The people on your own list: your imported LinkedIn connections and anyone you added.
  • A profile preview for each person: name, LinkedIn URL, headline, one current title and company, and location.
  • Whether you know each person: your own known and not known answers, Pluk's predictions, and whether a connection is mutual.
  • Summary counts for your list.

Claude does not see the reasons behind Pluk's predictions. If you let Pluk check your email and calendar to improve its predictions, nothing from your email or calendar is sent to Claude through the connector.

Claude can change

  • Whether you know a person on your list.
  • Your list, by adding people you have met.

Claude can also create a temporary CSV download link for your list. Creating a link does not change your list.

Claude cannot delete people from your list, see other Pluk users' lists, send messages or connection requests, or access your LinkedIn account. Pluk receives only the requests Claude makes to these tools, not your conversations with Claude. When a search filters by work history, education, or location, Pluk sends those filters and the LinkedIn profiles of people on your list to its profile data provider, CoreSignal, to find who matches. Results Claude receives become part of your conversation and are handled under your agreement with Anthropic. Our privacy policy describes the connector in detail.

Disconnect and revoke access

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, select Pluk, and choose Disconnect. Claude stops using the connector right away.

To also make sure the access you granted is revoked on Pluk's side, email support@pluk.ai from the address on your Pluk account and we will revoke it. A revoked connection stops working immediately. Disconnecting does not delete your Pluk list; you can reconnect at any time.
