You may be reading this because Pluk holds professional information about you, even though you never signed up for Pluk. This notice explains what we hold, where it came from, what we do with it, and how you can see it, correct it, or have it deleted. If you are in the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, this is the notice required by Article 14 of the GDPR.
Pluk is operated by Jobreel, Inc., a US company. You can reach us at privacy@pluk.ai. We have appointed Euverify as our representative in the EU and the UK under Article 27 of the GDPR. You may contact them instead of us:
We may hold your name, your work email where available, and your professional profile: employer, job title, how long you have been in each role, education, and skills. We may also hold your city and region, your LinkedIn profile URL and public photo, and any recruiting messages you exchanged with a company that uses Pluk. Our software also generates an evaluation of how well your profile fits a specific role, with a confidence score.
We license this data from CoreSignal, a third-party data provider. CoreSignal collects it from public professional profiles. We did not get it from you directly.
We match candidates to open roles at the companies that use Pluk. We show matching profiles to those companies, score how well each profile fits the role, and help people who already know you send you a warm introduction. That is the whole use. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
We rely on legitimate interests: operating a recruiting service, and connecting candidates to roles that may be relevant to them, based on information they have made public in a professional context. We have carried out a balancing assessment of these interests against your rights, and it is on file. You can object at any time. Section 10 explains how.
Our customers, meaning the hiring companies that use Pluk, see your profile when it matches a role they are hiring for. Our sub-processors, the service providers that run parts of Pluk, process it on our behalf. The full list is at pluk.ai/subprocessors.
We are based in the United States. If you are in the EU or the UK, your data is transferred to the US. These transfers are made under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK Addendum for UK data.
We keep profile data while we maintain our candidate pool, and we review and refresh it regularly. If you ask us to delete your data, we also add you to a suppression list. That entry is permanent. It exists so your profile is not re-added the next time we receive data from our sources.
Our software generates an AI score of how well your profile fits a role. The score informs human recruiters. No decision that affects you is made by automation alone, and a human approves every outreach message before it is sent.
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict how we use it, and object to our use of it. If you object, we remove you and add you to the suppression list described above, permanently. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: your local data protection authority in the EU, or the ICO in the UK (ico.org.uk). We would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.
Use the form below. You do not need an account. We only ask for enough to find your record: an email address or a LinkedIn profile URL. You can also email privacy@pluk.ai. We respond within one month.
